Shari Jordan is the step- mother of Jeffery Dahmer who was an American serial killer and sex offender who killed and dismembered seventeen males between 1978 and 1991. When she married Lionel Dahmer in 1978, she became the stepmother of one of the world’s most prominent serial killer. Jeffery Dahmer was the son of Lionel Dahmer and Joyce Dahmer. When Jeffery was still a child, Joyce left Lionel. Lionel remarried and married Shari Jordan.
Lionel also wrote a book about his son called, “A Father’s Story.” Dahmer was born in West Allis, Wisconsin, in 1936 and was the father of serial killer Jeffery Dahmer. He is still alive as of 2023 and has participated in several interviews since his son’s crimes became known to the public.

Shari and Lionel stood by Jeffrey despite discovering his sickening murder spree and visited him regularly in prison. After Dahmer’s name became internationally known, however, the couple refused to defend his heinous crimes – opting instead for a life of privacy.
Lionel Dahmer is retired; he lived with his second wife, Shari, until her death in 2023. Both refused to change their surname and professed their love of Dahmer in spite of his crimes. Couple’s son Jeffery Dahmer died aged 34 on November 28, 1994, at the prison in Portage, Wisconsin.
While most families supported Lionel and Shari, three families later sued him: two for using their names in the book without their prior permission, and the third family, Steven Hicks, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Lionel, Shari, and Joyce on the grounds that they were negligent parents.

Shari Dahmer died at the age of 81 on Jan. 13 2023 at a nursing home in Seville, Ohio. Her death reason was ill health. While Dahmer and his younger brother, David, were young adults, Shari married Lionel, Dahmer’s father.
In 1991, Dahmer was unmasked as a serial killer who tortured, murdered, and cannibalized men he lured to his Milwaukee home. Joyce Dahmer, Dahmer’s birth mother, died in 2000. He still lives in Ohio, but he doesn’t appear to have seen his wife in the months before she died.
