From an early age, Spencer got involved in the acting world, firstly appearing in commercials and after a while made his acting debut. He moved to New York with his family when he was only four years old, and later settled in Los Angeles, California once his career took off.

His debut came in 2003 when he played Tate Walker in the TV crime-drama series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, and the next year portrayed Ace in the soap opera “One Life to Live”. For the next several years, Spencer secured several one-off appearances in such TV series as “Wonder Pets!” and “Fringe”, both in 2009, while the same year he also played Rabbit in the horror film “Offspring”. The following year he portrayed Martin Bristol in the horror film “Bereavement”, starring Michael Biehn, Alexandra Daddario and Brett Rickaby, while in 2011 Spencer had the lead role in the comedy film “Bringing Up Bobby”, alongside Milla Jovovich and Bill Pullman, which only increased his net worth.

In 2014 Spencer starred in the drama film “Night Has Settled”, and also had a supporting role in the thriller drama film “A Wife’s Nightmare”, with Jennifer Beals, Katherine McNamara and Dylan Neal in the lead roles.
